About Dhruv Panchal
Dhruv Panchal is an AI/ML researcher and machine learning engineer specializing in Computer Vision, Multimodal AI, Vision-Language Models, and Quantum Machine Learning. He is currently pursuing his M.Tech in Machine Learning at the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT). Dhruv earned a Gold Medal for his Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and has mentored over 350 students as a Teaching Assistant at DA-IICT.

- Rooftop Segmentation — Hybrid YOLOS + SAM pipeline for satellite imagery, achieving +23% IoU over baseline. Built India-specific dataset of 5000+ aerial tiles.
- Vision-Language Model — Custom VLM combining SigLIP and Gemma with KV caching and top-p decoding for visual question answering.
- QuanvolutionNet — Hybrid quantum-classical CNN reaching 81.12% on CIFAR-10 by integrating quanvolutional filters.
